On Wednesday, September 28th, John Hauck joined our breakfast meeting at the iHop in Boonton to speak about Bone Marrow Transplant. Every four minutes, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. And for thousands of patients with a blood cancer like leukemia or other blood diseases like sickle cell anemia, a marrow of umbilical cord transplant is their only life-saving treatment. John is volunteering for Be The Match, a non-profit, which operates the largest, most diverse registry of potential marrow donors in the world and

works for locate the best possible match for every patient. John himself volunteers as courier flying across the country and the world to bring the life-saving marrow from the donors to the recipient. Thank you, John, for sharing your experiences with us.
